Live at Montreux
Saturn · MS 87976 (Saturn); IC 1039 (Inner City) · 1977 · Europe era
Double live album recorded at the Montreux Jazz Festival during Sun Ra’s fourth European tour. Originally issued on Saturn in 1977 with hand-drawn covers, then reissued in 1978 on Inner City with new artwork, full credits, and standardized titles. Later CD issues appeared on Universe/Akarma and P-Vine/Inner City; some early CDs used inferior source tapes and truncated “On Sound Infinity Spheres,” whereas later Japanese and US editions restored the full performance.
